Bryan Register debuts Tristan at Theater Kiel to critical acclaim

Bryan Register sang his first Tristan for Theater Kiel’s production of Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, garnering great plaudits for his performance. Following the premiere on 25 January, Register was praised for his ravishing vocal skill, passionate expression of suffering and the great intensity of his performance (Lübecker Nachrichten).
The production, conducted by Georg Fritzsch and directed by Daniel Karasek, marked another major Wagnerian debut for Register after singing Lohengrin for the first time at Savonlinna Opera Festival in July 2013; a role he returns to at the Hong Kong Arts Festival in March 2014.
